Attention to detail

December 18, 2006 by Dmitry

Apple is famous for their attention to detail. Did you know that if you unplug the headphones during playback, iPod will pause the song? Another example: they hided the iSight indicator on the recent revision of MacBook Pro.

Attention to detail is not perfectionism, it’s balance. Like Formula-1 drivers try to find the right balance to keep their car on track and get the highest speed; those who pay attention to detail find the right balance between adding features and polishing existing ones.

Here at Coding Robots we try to find that balance — it’s our philosophy to pay attention to detail. (Despite the platform we make software for ).

In your announcement, you say that “All know bugs have been fixed.” Should one little word in that sentence not be “known” instead of “know”. A little typo on the way to perfectionism… :)

Typo notwithstanding, new product looks great!

Billy, thanks, fixed. So many things to do that I lost my attentiveness.
