From the comments above, apparently that's not the case? While sorting through a problem I encountered with Leopard yesterday, the Apple representative had me do a very convoluted reboot of my Mac. That seemed to solve the problems, but later I discovered to my horror that all my Mémoires entries from July 11 through yesterday had disappeared! I tried Time Machine, but couldn't find them there, either. Just spent two hours on the phone with Apple support to see if they could be recovered, but had no success. This does not make me very happy because many of my entries are extensive. If adding an auto-save feature is not feasible, then please emphasize regular manual saving in your documentation, or provide lots of pop-up dialog alerts to remind the user to save.
