We are happy to announce Mémoires 2.0, a new major version of our journaling software!

We listened to you and implemented a lot of your suggestions in this version.

Here’s a list of changes. You can find more information on What’s New page.

Show all entries. Your journals are now easier to browse: view all your entries in sidebar by clicking on the button or using new View menu.

Automatically save journals. Mémoires will now automatically save your journals every 5 minutes and before closing, so you won’t lose a bit.

Change date and time of entries. Entry title now conveniently shows date of entry creation. By clicking on it, you can change the date and time.

Better look of search results. Search results now have the same background as normal entries list, and shows shorter date to leave more space for entry title.

Check spelling as you type by default. While available in earlier versions, “Check spelling as you type” has been turned off by default. Now it’s on, so you can spot spelling mistakes on the fly.

Entries are now created and sorted using correct time.

Improved speed of browsing calendar and entries.

Added View > Go To Today menu item.

New application and document icons.

Better look of entry title.

Better look of dates with entries in calendar.

Improved Help menu.

Disable Entry > Remove menu item when there’s no selection.

New crash reporter.

Hide file extension when encrypting or decrypting file.

Fixed rare issue with buttons appearing as pressed.

Fixed typos in help.

Users of Mémoires 1.x can purchase an upgrade with <del datetime="2009-01-08T16:46:58+00:00">60% discount</del> 40% discount (upd: sorry, I meant 60% of the price, which is 40% discount). If you bought Mémoires 1.x after December 1, 2008, you are eligible for a free upgrade, and we’ll send your new license today (if you didn’t receive it, please use lost key recovery page to get your key).

You can download Mémoires 2.0 from its product page.

We hope you’ll enjoy the new version!

We’re happy to announce the availability of the final release of Mémoires 1.0.

Release Notes

GUI improvements.

Better Leopard compatibility.

Export panel “Save” button changed to “Export”.

Russian, Japanese and Traditional Chinese localizations.

New icon.

Help added.

Fixed: when current date changes, it now changes in Mémoires as well.

Download it here: http://www.codingrobots.com/memoires/

We want to thank everyone who supported us, especially on the difficult decision to make Mémoires shareware. Free trial version is available for download (it has the limitation of 5 entries per journal), and you can purchase the full version for €14.

There’s one more thing…

If you purchase Mémoires this week, you’ll grow a tree. Seriously – we’ll transfer a percentage of sales to WWF. One purchased copy of Mémoires = one new tree on our planet. Save trees, write your journal on your Mac, forget about paper.

Have fun!

We are happy to announce the availability of the all-new BlogJet 2.0,
the best blog client for Windows!

BlogJet 2.0 is a giant leap forward in the process of developing the ideal platform for bloggers. It is a major release, and we believe it’s a big event for the whole blogging community.

Top 5 new features include:

New user interface. It is easier, more complete, and has themes (looks native on Vista).

Post management with local cache. Your posts are stored in local cache, so you don’t need Internet connection to access them anymore.

Instant search. Finding posts is easier because of the instant search, which shows results as you type.

Tags. Finally, you can tag your posts easily. No more plugins, no more hacks. And if your blog platform supports tags natively (currently only Movable Type 3.3 or later), BlogJet can use them.

Blog autodiscovery. No more troubles with finding the right API settings — just enter your blog’s address, and BlogJet will configure itself.

…and many more.

BlogJet is now more stable and launches faster. All known bugs have been fixed. It now works with new Blogger and we fixed the issue with Live Spaces.

Get it at http://www.blogjet.com!

If you purchased previous versions of BlogJet, we have special upgrade prices (valid until August 2007, so get it now).

Update: As promised, those who purchased BlogJet after October 30, will receive their new license for free soon.

We are also proud to announce that BlogJet is now a product of a new company — Coding Robots. Dmitry, BlogJet’s author, is Chief Executive Robot there. You can find out more about us at http://www.codingrobots.com

Now playing: Offspring - Change The World
